OVERVIEW

The Tenet 70 is a custom mechanical keyboard kit designed to push the boundaries of mechanical keyboard design and explore new possibilities. Equipped with a gasket mounting method, a customizable interactive OLED screen, and a swappable layout design, the Tenet 70 offers a unique yet top-tier typing experience and interaction potential. It features a 70% keyboard layout form factor and is encapsulated in a CNC-milled aluminum and brass case.

The Tenet 70 started as a hobby project, a testament to what I could do with total freedom and my way of giving back to the keyboard community that I have enjoyed. Looking back, this project pushed my skills in many areas, from modeling and advertising to supplier management. This unique experience provided guidance for my learning direction during my studies at university.

Incorporating an OLED screen to push the interaction boundaries between the keyboard and the user. From a one-way input device to an interactive experience. Designed carefully to allow the screen to reside inside the existing layout of the keyboard. With many display modes available and customizable software support, this enhances and maximizes the personalized user-experience of this keyboard.

Driver and Management Software are designed collaboratively with HEXCORE, the team that designed the Anne Pro keyboards.

SWAPPABLE LAYOUT

You can quickly switch to match your desire. The completely horizontally symmetrical design of the mounting mechanism, as well as the split-PCB design allow the user the select and assemble between two different layout.

The conventional 80% layouts with the isolated arrow and macro key section on the right sometimes blocks the movement of my mouse. In order to give the mouse more space, the southpaw layout was designed with convenience in mind.
